EXERCISE

We were told to create a report about a tabletop game that also has a digital version. Specifically, the task is to compare between the 2 versions.

EXERCISE 2

REFLECTION

During the process of finishing the report, I have found the process fun since I had to experience it first-hand. It was interesting because I have always played the physical version but I only played the digital version once or twice. While playing the digital version, I considered all the aspects and what differentiates it from the physical game. In my opinion, I like the physical version more since it is more engaging. But, the digital version implemented the mechanics of the physical game really well. The overall process of conducting the research by playing the game was very fun and interesting. I also realized how similar and different the game can be other than one being digital. This exercise has taught me ways how a physical tabletop game can be turned to a digital game and what must be done to create the same feeling as if the players was really playing the physical game.
