REFLECTION

Through out this short semester, I have learned a lot from this module. I have learned different types of design principles. and how much of it is actually used in artworks. It has come to a shock for me that a lot of artworks or almost all of it has 1 or more design principles implemented on it. Though the most fun thing for me while taking this module is the task. That is because I got to do a detailed research and discover new things about my favorite painting, which is The Starry Night by Vincent van Gogh. I am thrilled that I got to do the research and create a design that has a correlation with my favorite painting. So, the overall progress and process of making the task was very fun for me. But, I don't think there are any particular thing that I don't like in this module. Because this module for me was truly an enjoyable process of both learning and designing.

The learning process that I got from this module made me realize that I am very much fond of the background story of how something is made. Take The Starry Night painting for instance, I had a really enjoyable time discovering about the painting more and also how I can implement it to my design. During this learning process, I have discovered a new habit of learning in the afternoon. Since, I used to like studying at night more. Though, I can't seem to forget my habit of snacking while studying. Through this learning journey, I hope that in the future I can convey messages more clearly to the viewers through my artworks or designs and maybe inspire some new artists.
